A school Principal playing dodgeball wrapped in bubble wrap?!

Here is a video of a schools principal playing dodgeball to raise funds for his school.

I just though that this looks ridiculous so I laughed and posted it. He is even wearing a motorcycle helmet.

Take a look.

Get your mustache ready!

All right peoples. This weekend the LA guys are running a dodgeball tournament that requires players (I believe everyone that attends) to sport a mustache. So unless your shooting some serious steroids you may need to pull out a sharpie and create your own mustache. Check out this girl with a mustache she set the drawing standard for last years tournament.

I have never been to one of these events but it looks like a lot of fun. Some of our players will be there to hone in on their skills. Hopefully we will have some pictures and video to show everyone in the near future.

From another Dodgeball blog

Here at the National Dodgeball Association we support dodgeball period. If anyone has something to contribute towards the sport please let us know. We will do our best to support you and your idea.

The other day I came across another dodgeball blogger and I'll post a few things that she has posted to wet everyones appetite.

Her blog title is "Sore Arm".

This doesn’t happen to me very often, but I see a LOT of guys holding their upper throwing arms in agony sometimes during and after intense games. I’m sure you’ve all experienced this at some point or another.

I spoke with my chiropractor here in Toronto yesterday and asked her for some tips I could share with you about what to do when you get a sore arm, and how to prevent it from happening. This is what Doctor Barb had to say:

“Maintaining a healthy posture is the best way to prevent injury when throwing hard. Your arm and shoulder function best when the nerves in your neck and mid back are free of interference.

There are important steps that any athlete can take to help minimize the risk of injury. Always stretch before and after exercise. It is important to include “dynamic stretching” in your routine. These stretches should mimic activities involved in subsequent exercise.

National Dodgeball Association gets a little goofy airtime

Go back to our Home page

We got some air time the other day with Good Day Sacramento. It was fun but nothing even close to what dodgeball is all about.
Also I didn't think I would look so goofy on TV but...

I thought I would post the video links for all to see. In two of the links the reporter gets it in the head (courtesy of Jacky from Arenasoftball) and the face (thrown by on of our HARDEST throwers Ben). After the face shot and the cameras stopped rolling Mark (the reporter) said that his face was numb. " Shake it off" everyone said. It was great. That was funny. By the way Mark was fine and said he wants to play the real deal. We will soon see.
